BARÇA IS THROUGH!!

With a 2-0 win over Portuguese side Benfica, Barcelona made its way to the Champions League Semi-Final where the team is set to join mighty Milan!

Barça dominated most of the game but couldn´t quite finish off Benfica,a problem they are expiriencing more often than not in this last part of the season, and score the second goal that would have definitely iced off the match. I´m starting to get worried by Barça´s lack of efficience in front of opposite goalkeepers. They need of a healthy Messi back is urgent and even Guly should get a run in some games instead of Etoo or Larsson or the seldom rested Ronaldinho. Lets even give Maxi (I think he´s cool, and yes I know, I´m probably about the only one who thinks that among Barcelona supporters) a try in some less important legaue games, it can´t hurt and there´s not much more to take from considering Ezquerro´s poor and SOFT play this season, Gabri´s inability to meet the team´s necessities and the many injuries this team has had this season.

Anyway, COOL WIN guys and lets hope we can show Milan and Ancelotti who rules Europe!!!

P.S. Van anyone, possibly Rijkaard himself or even Deco , explain our defenders how and WHEN tomake fouls when the other side is counter-attacking? I´m about to freak out that every counter attack actually leads to a foul near the penalty box or an uncontested shot on Valdés goal!! It´s not admissible that this far into the season this still happens (and it has happenede against benfica in both games and against Chelsea...) and a team like Milan usually takes advantage of this "lack of concept" understanding on defense... So PLEASEEEEEE, foul as close to the midline as you can, even though you´re risking a yellow card, but don´t let the striker come "this" close to scoring!!

Visca el Barça, siempre!!!

(Eto´o celebrating his goal)
